About Beer & Water

Beer & Water started with a simple, slightly nerdy observation: beer is mostly water. Like, 90-95% water. And yet most beer writing ignores water entirely and goes straight to hops, malts, and which taproom has the coolest murals.

We think that's a missed opportunity.

We cover craft beer the way a curious friend would — with enthusiasm, honesty, and zero pretension. You won't find us using the word "terroir" unironically. You will find us explaining why Burton-on-Trent water made IPAs famous, which $12 craft beer is genuinely worth it, and which trendy releases are just hype in a can.
